Airfield Electrical Engineer

P.Eng.

Nick Heisz is an Electrical Engineer licensed and practicing in most provinces across Canada. Nick's vast experience includes planning, condition assessment, design, contract administration, construction management, inspection and project management for airfield projects. Nick specializes in airfield electrical design and project management and is fully versed in all aspects including all types of airfield lighting, apron floodlighting, guidance signs, power distribution, Field Electrical Centers (FECs), standby power systems, control systems and communications infrastructure. Nick leads and manages airfield electrical projects from concept through commissioning and supports multidisciplinary projects with electrical design and contract administration. Nick has worked on a wide variety of projects at over 50 airports across Canada from large scale major international airport runway rehabilitation projects to small remote northern edge lighting installations and everything in between. Nick is also experienced in municipal electrical engineering including power distribution and street lighting and telecommunications data network design.
