About Our Team
Scott is a people leader, project manager, and civil engineer who has been working on and leading complex construction projects from conception through delivery since 2007. His portfolio spans aviation and institutional work — including the WestJet widebody hangar built to house Boeing's 787 Dreamliner, an IPD-delivered polar bear habitat at the Calgary Zoo, and a $70M multifamily affordable housing project he was brought in to stabilize and return to a path toward completion. He has repeatedly been the person handed a project mid-stream, under pressure, or short on trust — and asked to make it work.
That range has shaped how he leads: build relationships that centre on client outcomes, surface issues before they escalate, and keep every stakeholder proactively in the loop rather than reactively informed.
Scott is new to aviation specifically, but not to the kind of work aviation demands — technically complex, schedule-driven, multi-stakeholder projects where the margin for error is thin. That background is what he brings to leading Avia NG's team in the west as Director.
