About Our Team
Van recently joined the Avia NG Team in 2024, based in our new Edmonton office. With expertise in civil design, construction, design-build coordination, and project management, she has worked across various delivery models including Traditional Design Bid Build, Design-Build, Public Private Partnership and Construction Management. In her previous roles, Van served as a Civil Technical Discipline Lead for Roadways, Drainage, Utilities, Landscape, and Ductbanks on a large complex rail project in Edmonton with a Design-Build Joint Venture, and as a Transportation Project Manager for a Rail and Transit division with a major consultant company. These experiences provided her with extensive knowledge throughout the project lifecycle, from tendering, design, construction administration to project closeout.
Holding a Master of Engineering in Transportation (2021) from the University of Alberta, a BSc in Civil Engineering (2014) from Lakehead University, and a Civil Engineering Technology diploma (2010) from NAIT, Van is eager to broaden her expertise within the aviation sector.
